Sabah quake: Bodies of last 2 Singaporean victims to be flown back on Friday

The Ministry of Education (MOE) said on Friday (Jun 19) that the last two bodies of the Singaporeans who died on Mount Kinabalu during the Sabah earthquake on Jun 5 will return to the Republic. 

The remains of Tanjong Katong Primary School student Navdeep Singh Jaryal S/O Raj Kumar and teacher Mr Mohammad Ghazi Bin Mohamed, will arrive in Singapore on Friday afternoon, said MOE. The ministry added that it will "continue to provide support to the families of Navdeep and Ghazi during this difficult time".

The statement is reproduced in full below: 

Arrangements have been made for the remains of Navdeep Singh Jaryal S/O Raj Kumar and Mohammad Ghazi Bin Mohamed to return to Singapore this afternoon. We will continue to provide support to the families of Navdeep and Ghazi during this difficult time.
