SINGAPORE - The Committee of Inquiry (COI) appointed to investigate the causes of the MRT service disruptions last December has announced that its public hearing will commence on Monday, April 16, at the Subordinate Courts.
The hearing will be open to the public.
In a press release issued this morning, the COI said the Criminal Investigation Department, Land Transport Authority and SMRT needed time "to carry out very thorough investigations before a meaningful public inquiry can be conducted".
The COI also invited any party that wished to be represented at the hearings, or who wish to give evidence on the disruptions, to contact committee secretary Sidney Koh at email@example.com.
