Local telcos announced price plans for the new iPad Air on Friday - the same day the anticipated tablet launched in Singapore.
Singtel customers can get a 16GB iPad Air for $539 with a 5GB data plan at $29.90 a month.
Starhub customers can buy them for $548 each with a 6GB data plan at $30 a month while M1 customers can get one for $459 with an 8GB data plan at $40 a month.
All the price plans come with a two-year contract and customers can find other pricing details on their respective websites.
Local response to the launch of the new iPad seems muted compared to other Apple product launches.
Users of local forum Hardwarezone spotted a queue at the Apple retail store in Tampines Mall, and another short queue outside a Starhub outlet in Plaza Singapura.
A few of the telco outlets visited by a Yahoo Singapore reporter had no queues at all.
