Sport Singapore (SportSG) has lodged a police report against Singapore Floorball Association (SFA) president Sani Mohamed Salim, SportSG announced on Saturday (May 14).
In a statement, a spokesperson said SportSG suspects that Mr Sani had misappropriated funds belonging to the SFA, and that the matter is now being investigated by the Police.
Mr Sani, who is a staff of SportSG, has also been suspended from official duty with immediate effect, a SportSG spokesperson added.
On May 12, TODAY reported that the SFA has been hit by financial problems, and has not received its annual funding from SportSG. Then, Mr Sani said that everything was "under control".
