National Day Parade to have Lee Kuan Yew tribute segment: Ng Eng Hen

This year’s National Day Parade (NDP) will feature a tribute segment dedicated to the late Mr Lee Kuan Yew, Defence Minister Ng Eng Hen revealed on Tuesday (Apr 7).

“NDP 2015 will still adopt a celebratory tone over Singapore’s progress and achievements,” said Dr Ng in a Facebook post, adding that “we have to move on, as Mr Lee would want us to”.

"The Organising Committee has decided to add a tribute segment dedicated to the life and accomplishments of Mr Lee. In addition, as a mark of remembrance, his empty seat will be among us as we watch the show at the Padang," he wrote.
