We reached out to the kid’s mother and asked her to share the horrifying experience with us. She requested not to have any information or image regarding her family posted in this article to protect her family’s privacy.

Here’s what she said.

“When we were in the mall, my son started crying because he wouldn’t let us carry him. Suddenly, an elderly aunty in her 50s approached us and shouted in our faces.”

The first thing that aunty said was,

“When are you going to die? How many children did you kidnap?” “At first we thought she was just mentally ill, but soon we noticed something fishy going on. We held our son closely to protect him. She didn’t dare to do anything as there were three adults there.”

According to the victim, the grey-haired aunty was wearing an orange top with floral-printed pants. She had a shoulder-length haircut and was alone throughout the incident.

“When my mother went to alert the security guard, the aunty started talking nonsense to us. I couldn’t comprehend what she was talking about. She then accused us of breaking into her house and stealing her belongings while causing her injuries in the process.” “I had a feeling she purposely tried to blow things up to manipulate the on-lookers into thinking that the crying kid does not belong to us.

This will make things easier for her if she tries to forcefully take my son away.” When the mother decided to call the cops, the lunatic aunty said, “Show me your IC!” “Since everyone was looking and we don’t want them to think that we have anything to do with the aunty, we proceeded to the security booth.” “When the security guard showed up, the aunty was nowhere to be found. I think the aunty chose us as the target because my son was crying.”

The lady expressed her disbelief that a relatively elderly aunty would do something like this, especially when they look so ‘innocent’. I guess not anymore! To think, if they had let their guard down, their son probably would’ve been as good as gone. Parents with kids should be more careful of this shocking modus operandi for kidnapping as the tactics are getting more sophisticated – to the point that elderlies themselves are in on it! Anyway, we’re glad that the family is safe and no one is harmed in the kidnap attempt.
