The Taiwanese singer-actor and his girlfriend are reportedly feuding over their wedding plans.
There's trouble in paradise for Taiwanese superstar Vanness Wu and his girlfriend of six years, Arissa Cheo. Wu and Cheo, a Singaporean heiress, were rumoured to be engaged in May, but were recently spotted flying separately to different locations. Could this mean that the two lovebirds are taking a break from each other?
Though both parties initially denied rumours of their engagement, Vanness has since declared his love for Arissa.
"She's mine," he said. "We're heading towards it (marriage)."
According to media reports, the couple planned to register their marriage in California while preparing for their secret wedding. Apparently, the pressure from planning has taken a toll on their relationship.
Sources reveal that the pair's planned trip to Singapore last month was cancelled at the last minute due to their frequent quarrels. Vanness then travelled to Bali, while Arissa headed to the Maldives. Both of them have reportedly expressed their unhappiness to close friends.
In response, Vanness' manager explained that the 34-year-old is suffering moodiness because of his album's delay. "He mentioned previously that they are not there (with marriage) yet. That's all I know."
At a movie promotion last week, Vanness' working partners said they did not notice anything strange and commented that he had a good time.
