He allegedly drugged and raped more than 60 models and actresses and even videotaped his conquests
The son of one of Taiwan's largest financial company's CEO, Li Zongrui, is in big trouble after police uncovered more than 60 tapes of him engaging in sexual acts with various women. Some of them appeared unconscious, raising suspicions that he had drugged them before he filmed the acts. His father, Li Yue Chang, reportedly has more than NT$1 billion (S$41.6 million) worth of shares in the Taiwan stock market.
In the videos uncovered by police in Zongrui's personal computer, the list of victims allegedly included various A-listers in the entertainment industry. Some of the videos were shot with the victims apparently unaware of the presence of the recording device, whereas some of the women were clearly aware of it as they smiled directly into the camera.
The police have issued a warrant of arrest for and he is also prohibited from leaving the country. Reports have suggested that Zongrui has fled the country after receiving a tip-off from one of the models, whose residence the police raided.
He has previously been linked to celebrities such as actress Gina Lin and model Maggie Wu. He is currently dating a model named Joyce. Zongrui is infamous for his lavish spending habits during his frequent visits to nightclubs, where he mingles with the rich and famous. Among his showbiz friends are host Dee Hsu, actor-model Sunny Wang and singer-actress Makiyo.
