So you all remember your good pal, Chris Brown, right? AKA Nobody's Pal? Because that one -- oh, sorry; two or more -- times he went and slandered gay people for being gay is apparently all but forgotten about in Chris' tiny nutshell of a mind, because he's preaching the obvious importance of same-sex unions on the internet. Don't believe it? Thinking about poor Frank Ocean once again? Here it is:
"Love is not a crime. Gay or straight. Love who u wanna love. Stop the hate & sign here http://bit.ly/19BPAbF #Unity"
In short, Chris Brown is turning over another new leaf, guys, and maybe -- just maybe! -- people will like him again because he's doing the obvious right thing. The problem lies in the fact, though, that leopards generally don't change their spots, especially when it comes to thinking that calling people "f-ggots" and using "queer" as a derogatory term is OK.
In short, gay people don't need you, Chris, and guess what -- straight people don't, either. It's a nice sentiment, though, and a real one at that.
