Taiwanese pop trio S.H.E wrapped up three successful shows at the Hong Kong Coliseum last weekend. Besides openly declaring her love for husband Alvin Lai, Ella Chen teased the crowd by squeezing her cleavage on stage, after changing into a sexy V-neck costume.
“I don’t have toned abs, but I can show off my cleavage,” she laughed.
As it was S.H.E’s first performance at the Hong Kong Coliseum after Selina’s burn accident three years ago, the latter was especially emotional during her solo segment. The singer choked on tears while addressing the crowd, saying, “I’ve recovered. I can dance, I can jump and I sing for everyone now.”
In the end, Selina had to fix her make-up on stage as her fake eyelashes fell off due to her uncontrollable tears.
Also, S.H.E displayed their humourous side by insisting to speak in “broken Cantonese” despite their inaccurate pronounciation, which brought much laughter to the arena. The trio, however, won loud applause for their moving rendition of Eason Chan’s hit Cantonese song “King of Karaoke” that they have specially prepared for the Hong Kong concert.
The trio will be back to perform at the Singapore Indoor Stadium on Oct 26 with S.H.E’s 2GETHER 4EVER. Restricted view tickets at S$198 are still available for sale at SISTIC.
