Chinese New Year isn’t just an occasion to check out the latest in celeb fashion. Thanks to social media, we’re also given front-row seats to their kitchen skills and gorgeous homes, like what Hongkong actress Aimee Chan showed her followers over the holidays.
The star, who’s married to actor Moses Chan, has always been very active on social media, sharing snaps of cakes that she’d baked for her three kids, amongst other slice-of-life updates.
And during this year's Chinese New Year holidays, we were given a glimpse into the family’s reunion dinner, which was whipped up by both Aimee and Moses.
P.S: Check out Moses’ wok skills!
This is what the family-of-five tucked into that night, according to Aimee: “chicken soup, braised mushroom with fishmaw, soy sauce chicken, steamed fish, deep fried oysters, stir fried tomato garlic shrimp, tong yuen for dessert! (sic)”. Super yummy, right?
But rather than the food, netizens were more interested in Aimee and Moses’s new apartment. The couple moved to their new home just a month ago, and have been busy settling in since.
Many marvelled over how wide the windows in the couple’s living room were, gushing over the natural light that spilled in during the day.
Others were more focused on how the couple had opted for an all-white theme when it came to furniture ‘cos well, when you have three kids under the age of 10, keeping your furniture pristine isn’t exactly child’s play.
Aimee and Moses have two sons, six-year-old Aiden Joshua and five-year-old Nathan Lucas, and a four-year-old daughter, Camilla.
The biggest draw, however, was the gorgeous sea view peeking out behind Camilla in this picture Aimee uploaded.
Not too shabby, right? Definitely rivals the view from Hongkong celeb couple Julian Cheung and Anita Yuen’s S$24,500 a month apartment.
