Lucas set to be a 'Chung'
Now that the divorce between Hong Kong's celebrity couple, Nicholas Tse and Cecilia Cheung is confirmed, the fight for their children's custody is well under way, according to a report from Xin MSN website.
Nicholas is said to be returning to Hong Kong on July 8, and will be offering Cecilia HKD $200 (SG $30 million) to have his sons back in his arms.
The actor also wanted his son Lucas to start school soon. After completing nursery last year, Lucas would be qualified for entry into international school this September, but he missed an entrance interview with the school because Cecilia took him to filming with her.
"Nicholas arranged for an interview through his contacts. However, Cecilia took Lucas to filming, causing the child to miss the interview. Nicholas is bound to deal with the problem when he comes back from Malaysia," an insider said.
He added that Nicholas will be lessening his work load, in order to take care of his sons personally and not to rely on his mother, Deborah Li.
On another note, according to a Hong Kong magazine, Cecilia has rejected Nicholas's suggestion of allowing Lucas to start school.
Apparently an "adviser" from Cecilia's camp even told her to let Lucas adopt her surname once she has received custody of the child.
Nicholas' manager, Mani Fok, said that they would not comment on anything related to the child's surname.
