While Robert Pattinson is going a head with his work commitments, in the wake of her cheating scandal Kristen Stewart has reportedly cancelled some of hers.
Kristen was due to help promote her new film On The Road by attending the London premiere next Thursday, but is said to be too ashamed to face the public after the news of her affair with Snow White And The Huntsman director Rupert Sanders was made public.
“Kristen won’t be doing the red carpet for On The Road, she’s too ashamed to show her face in public right now,” a source tells RadarOnline.
“After everything that has been said, and in light of the revelations that she cheated on Robert with director Rupert Sanders, she’s running scared at the moment,” the source adds.
Kristen’s appearance on the red carpet would be made even more difficult by the presence of co-star Tom Sturridge, who is best friends with Robert Pattinson. We imagine Tom would have one or two things to say to the Twilight actress. “There’s also the dilemma of standing next to her co-star Tom Sturridge,” the insider continues. “He’s very close to Rob and Kristen thinks it would be awkward for her to promote the movie on the red carpet alongside him.”
Meanwhile, Rob has his film Cosmopolis to promote, but he has decided that he won’t cancel any of his scheduled appearances. Even more surprisingly Rob will apparently NOT ban any difficult questions,
“Everything's on the table,” a source has told Page Six.
And of course, Rob and Kristen will both be required to travel the globe as they promote the final Twilight film Breaking Dawn Part 2 – now that really will be awkward!
