Former actress Gigi Lai might’ve left showbiz 12 years ago, but she’s doing very, very well for herself.
Gigi is now running a chain of aesthetic beauty clinics, which appears to be super profitable. The company was successfully listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange in 2017 so that's gotta mean something, right?
But if that doesn't quite convince you on how well the former TVB star is doing, then maybe her gorgeous mansion will?
Recently, she gave her fans a glimpse into the luxurious mansion she calls home, sharing short videos of her life at home on the Chinese social media app RED.
The svelte 49-year-old also gave fans more tips on her diet plan, which is painstakingly planned by a nutritionist, and mainly prepared by her helpers and a professional chef.
In one video, Gigi shows off her supper — a bowl of fishball noodles, which was swiftly whipped by her chef in a matter of minutes. (Yes, she's got a chef at home.)
According to reports, the mansion Gigi lives in is valued at a jaw-dropping HK$300mil (S$52mil). Decorated in glitzy white and gold, the mansion has been described as “a European palace” by awe-filled netizens.
A quick look into the former actress’s dressing room reveals a large collection of designer bags and clothing, all carefully arranged and displayed, while her home gym looks more like a commercial gym, with high-end workout machines and treadmills for Gigi to keep up with her exercise routine.
Gigi tied the knot with Hongkong businessman Patrick Ma in 2008. The couple have three daughters together, nine-year-old twins Patricia and Gianna, and seven-year-old Pegella.
