Taiwanese singer Elva Hsiao has reportedly applied for a week’s leave from her company to attend the wedding of Vanness Wu and his Singaporean fiancé, Arissa Cheo.
The couple, who filed their Notice of Marriage in Singapore on Aug 9, are expected to tie the knot in Los Angeles on Nov 15.
It is believed that Elva will be congratulating the lovebirds by performing at the wedding. Elva and Vanness became good friends after collaborating on various projects, such as advertisement shoots.
Under Vanness’s influence, Elva converted to Christianity and was baptized last year. The two, who are also said to go to the same church, grew even closer when Elva’s late mother was suffering from her illness as they often prayed together.
Although Vanness has remained tight-lipped about his big day, sources revealed that the couple has started sending out invitations.
On the other hand, Vanness’ manager also declined to reveal further details of the wedding, saying, “They will announce the date when they want to.”
