Cecilia Cheung and her sons, Lucas and Quintus were recently spotted at a public swimming pool near Surrey by Canadian fans. Adding on to rumours of her migration to Canada, netizens also revealed that Cecilia has applied for Canadian citizenship with her two boys, and enrolled them into a regular public school in Surrey-Fleetwood
The Hong Kong actress was reported to have taken the summer break to make a permanent move to Canada with her sons. According to an insider, this decision was made after reaching a consensus with her ex-husband, Nicholas Tse.
The 33-year-old actress, who was having a swim with Lucas and Quintus on Monday, was said to be in high spirits. Not only did she appear friendly and approachable for photographs with her local supporters, Cecilia also assured them that she is very happy with her current life.
A fan left a message on weibo praising the amiable actress: “She was easy-going and very nice to talk to.”
Although having moved to Canada, the mother of two will bring Lucas and Quintus back to Hong Kong every holiday to reunite with their father, Nicholas Tse and grandparents, Patrick Tse and Deborah Lee.
During an interview with Patrick, the bitter grandfather responded to the separation with his grandchildren. He said, “I wasn’t even aware of this! I can’t stop them now, since she (referring to Cecilia) has already brought them (Lucas and Quintus) there.”
