Big Bang TOP, MBLAQ Lee Joon, 2PM Taecyeon and Junho to Appear at Busan International Film Festival This Weekend
One of South Korea's biggest and most important cultural events, the Busan International Film Festival (BIFF), will kick off on Thursday evening and the opening ceremony will be filled with some of the entertainment industry's biggest stars.
Festival-goers will have the privilege of seeing some of K-Pop's hottest idol-actors at this year's 18th annual event.
Big Bang's TOP, MBLAQ's Lee Joon, and 2PM members Taecyeon and Junho have all been confirmed to be participating in various events surrounding their new movies.
BIFF will open on Thursday with a star-studded ceremony at the Busan Cinema Center in the Centum City area of South Korea's second-largest city.
TOP, Lee Joon, and Taecyeon have all confirmed their participation in the red carpet event through the promoters of their respective movies.
The Big Bang leader is additionally scheduled to appear alongside his on-screen little sister, actress Kim Yoo Jung, at three separate events on Friday for their forthcoming film Commitment.
The movie Rough Play, starring MBLAQ singer Lee Joon will be featured in the Korean Cinema Today category at the film festival and the idol is scheduled to appear at an additional festival event near the world-famous Haeundae Beach on Friday.
Friday will also feature 2PM member Taecyeon's introduction of his debut movie Marriage Blue at two separate events.
His fellow group member and idol actor Junho will make his BIFF appearance later in the weekend, attending two events on Saturday and Sunday in conjunction with his wildly successful debut film Cold Eyes.
