In a recent promotional event for her latest movie, "Out Of Inferno", actress Angelica Lee Sin-Jie revealed to Cinema Online that her biggest challenge while filming the film was her pyrophobia. "I was really scared during the scenes when fire was actually used because I keep thinking that I was going to get burned. I am grateful to everyone for being patient with me as I try to overcome my fear. In that way, I am really glad to have the opportunity to star in this movie as it gave me a chance to get over my fear of fire," said the 37-year-old actress.
Meanwhile, her co-star Louis Koo said that one of the hardest parts of filming was pulling and dragging Sean Lau Ching-wan up.
"There is a scene where I have to pull Sean up to a building while he was holding on to a rope. My God, even though he looks [thin] like this, he was so heavy! I nearly broke my back!" Louis joked.
The film tells the story of two estranged brothers (played by Sean Lau and Louis Koo) who are firefighters, set against the backdrop of a burning building. The two have to put aside their differences to work together in order to save themselves and a group of survivors, among which includes the elder brother's pregnant wife.
Released as "Out Of Inferno" in Singapore and "Inferno" in Malaysia on 3 October, the film is directed by Danny and Oxide Pang.
